6th grade boys and their fathers (or adult friend or father figure) are invited to a fun and informative evening on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 6:30pm-8:00pm, as they learn about male puberty and the changes that go with it. The event will be held at Brywood Elementary School in the Multi-Purpose Room. Dinner (pizza) will be served. Please RSVP no later than Friday, October 13th.
The program is an Irvine Unified District approved and recommended supplemental program to the 6th grade health curriculum. IUSD supports the home as the primary provider of education relating to the physical and emotional aspects of becoming a man. This program is designed to assist in this task by opening up and encouraging the dialog and interaction between parents and students.
Our special guest speaker, Craig Cooper, will present a program for our boys about the changes they will experience as they grow. Craig has led this session at a number of IUSD schools and was the guest speaker last year at Brywood.
To register, please complete the RSVP form below. For any questions, email Tracey McCarthy at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
